Senior Boys' Play a Hard Fought Game

Senior Team

The senior team gets some words of inspiration from the coach.

The senior team lost a close decision in their first game against a strong Goderich team. In a game that was back and forth throughout the mustangs kept up the pressure right to the very end and lost by just five points.

Junior Boys Basketball Win Against GDCI

Junior Team

Players discuss game strategy during a time out.

The junior boys played hard against a large and tough Goderich team. It was a fast paced game from the start with quick scoring. The game was tied at the end of the first quarter but the mustangs were up by 8 at the half and able to keep the lead for the rest of the game.

Handshake

The boys team congratulate the GDCI team on a hard fought game.

Leading scorers were Jeff Norgate with 21, Grahm Scholl with 6 and Matt Stangen with 5. Good hustle and freethrows helped hold off the Vickings at the end of the game. Although the junior mustangs won we suffered a tough break with an ankle injury to starter Mike Darling in the first 30 seconds of the game. We hope Mike makes a quick recovery.
