Canadian Geography Challenge Returns

Map

The Madill version of the "Great Canadian Geography Challenge" is back! Last year's winner Matt Cardiff made it all the way to the top 20 in Canada, while the previous year's winner Jesse Winger, made it to the provincial finals in Toronto and we're hoping to keep up the tradition. This year there is a special invitation to next semester's grade 9 Geography classes to participate.

The competititon is fun, it's educational and there are prizes and scholarships available! It's open to everyone in Grades 7 to 12. The first round will be held this Friday, Dec. 6th, during period 1. We also have a guest celebrity helping us with the reading of the questions- CKNX's Phil Main!

Interested? Sign up today with Mr. Walker, Mrs. Jackson, Mr. Klassen or let your homeroom teacher know. If you'd like to learn more and practise some questions, go to this website Geography Challenge.
