In Memoriam: Travis Sturgeon

In Memory of Travis

Madill was saddened this week by the loss of a member of our school community. Travis was well known and had a charisma that made him a very likeable young man. Travis' death is a real tragedy the impact of which has been felt by everyone. Our sincere sympathies go out the the family and friends of Travis.

Visitation 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00, Wednesday, April 18.
Funeral service 2:00, Thursday, April 19.

In class co-op day.
Drama guild students travel to local schools for production of "Not Like Us".
Junior/senior boys' and girls rugby teams to Port Elgin: first bus leaves at 11:15 second at 12:30 PM.
Junior "Reach for the Top" team at CHSS for all day tournament.

TUESDAY, APRIL 17/ 07

Euclid math contest: morning only.

Civics/Careers turn around day.
Fryer, Galois and Hypatia contest.
Soccer teams to GDCI: bus departs school at 10:15
Junior badminton team at MDHS for tournament.
Track and field team to Kitchener, weather permiting.

THURSDAY, APRIL 19/ 07

USSR period 3.
Girls' rugby to South Huron for all day tournament: bus leaves at 9:00 AM.
Junior boys' rugby hosts Kincardine: dismissed at 1:15 game time is 2:00 PM.

FRIDAY, APRIL 20/ 07

Photography club to Wawanosh in the morning.
Senior boys' rugby to Saltfleet for "Early Bird" tournament.
