Madill Track Team Excels
Trevor Stacey, John McDowell and Chris Corbett in the senior boys 200 m.
55 members of the F.E. Madill Track and Field team traveled to St. Anne's in Clinton to compete in the Huron-Perth Championships on May 15th and 16th. The team performed extremely well and captured the Senior Boys and Senior Girls titles and finished second only to St. Anne's in total team points. Cole Pellett set a new Huron-Perth record in the midget boys triple jump with a distance of 11.45m. Trevor Stacey and Derek Sanderson tied for first runner up in the Individual Senior Boys Competition with two firsts and a second each. A.J. Beasley was close behind with two firsts and a third.
Derek Sanderson competes in the steeplechase.
The vast majority of the team had a personal best performance in at least one of their events. Approximately 45 of the team members have qualified to advance to WOSSAA and are preparing for that event which will take place at the University of Western Ontario on Wednesday and Thursday May 23rd and 24th.

Good job everyone and good luck at WOSSAA this week. Bring home some gold for us.
I was wondering if anyone else had some more pictures that they could send to me. Looking specifically for my daughter - Hayley Pavao (in shot putt, javeline and discus)
if so - tspavao@hotmail.com
Thanks
