It All Adds Up For Madill Students

The annual University of Waterloo math contests for grades 9, 10, and 11 were written back on February 20th. The data is now in and Madill had a number of noteworthy results!


Math_10

The grade 10 math team.

Our grade 10 team ranked FIRST out of 22 high schools in our zone. Lisa Choi ranked FIRST out of 238 grade 10 students, Josh Fotheringham ranked in the TOP 9 out of 238 grade 10 students and Connor Turland and Jesse Winger both ranked in the TOP 10% of grade 10 students in our zone.

Jody Hamers ranked in the TOP 10% of grade 11 students in our zone.


Math_9

The grade 9 math team.

John Welsh, Andrew Watson, Matt Harris, and Steven Sande ranked in the TOP 25% of grade 9 students in our zone.

A plaque with the names Lisa Choi, Josh Fotheringham, and Connor Turland will be placed in the math hall display case to acknowledge the first place ranking of Madill's grade 10 team.

Madill congratulates all participating students.
