Track and Field Ready to Start

Track and Field Team

Championship team from last year

Track and field practices will begin on Tuesday February 27, 2007 in Gym 228. Madill has won the Huron-Perth Track and Field Championship 14 out of the past 15 years but many of the senior members of the team graduated last year and we will need lots of new recruits in order to compete for the championship again this year. The team emphasis is on achieving your personal best and if you are interested in learning new skills, the track and field team would be very happy to have you join us.

What events can you do in track and field?

Response from Web Master:
There are many different events you can participate in - from hurdles, running events and relays to jumping events, discus, javelin and shot put. For details you should check with the phys. ed. department.

Do you know when the soccer tryout/conditioning is?

Response from Web Master: I'm not sure but I will pass this question along.

Further response: according to Mr. Klassen soccer tryouts and practices will happen later in the spring.
