Building Skills with "Off Site Construction"

Off site construction class pause for a break.
The grade 11 "Off Site Construction" class are really putting their skills to work for them. These students leave the classroom behind and head to the job site to get hands on experience with carpentry, bricklaying, plumbing and electrical work, all while they earn high shool credits. Madill is currently the only school within the Avon Maitland District School board to offer this program!

The off site crew work hard building a deck for a Wingham home.
This semester the class has been kept busy with four job sites but next year the addition of a grade 12 class will mean that they can expand. Anyone interested in having the class handle a project for them is asked to contact the teacher, (click here to email Mr. Wallace). The cost is a small donation to the program and any materials.
