Madill students returned from a week in New York city on Sunday, October 16. The weather may have been a little damp but the that didn't stop our students from getting the most out of their time in Manhattan!

Our students exerienced the best of Broadway and off-Broadway shows, art museums and many attractions of one of the world's most exciting cities. They also experienced the neighbourhoods of SoHo and Greenwich Village in a scavenger hunt/amazing race adventure.
Occupy Wall Street protests in Zuccotti Park, Lower Manhattan
The benefits of travel are many and often some of the most powerful learning experiences happen by chance. This was the case when students encountered protesters from the Occupy Wall Street group on several occassions.
